Concrete Cleaning in Denver & the Colorado Front Range
Starting at $85 · Licensed & Insured · 5-Star Rated
Concrete cleaning is broader than driveway cleaning — it covers every flatwork surface on your property. Sidewalks, patios, pads, steps, curbs, retaining walls, pool surrounds, and commercial flatwork all need the same approach: hot-water pressure washing with a commercial surface cleaner, detail work around edges, and appropriate chemistry for the stains present.
What we clean
- Sidewalks and public-facing walkways
- Back patios and entertainment areas
- HVAC and utility pads
- Garage floors (interior)
- Basement egress wells
- Exterior stairs and stoops
- Retaining walls
- Curbs and aprons
- Commercial flatwork (parking stalls, loading zones)
- Warehouse floors (with appropriate water management)
Colorado-specific concrete issues we treat
- Efflorescence — white mineral bloom, removed with acidic efflorescence cleaner
- Mag chloride staining — winter road-treatment residue, pulls out with hot water
- Pollen and organic staining — spring pollen stains light concrete, comes out easily
- Algae and mildew — north-facing concrete biological growth, killed with biocide
- Fertilizer burns — iron-based fertilizers leave orange streaks, treated with rust remover
- BBQ grease drips — greasy shadows on patios, degreased pre-wash
Surface cleaner vs. wand
For any concrete larger than ~50 sq ft, a commercial surface cleaner produces dramatically better results than a handheld wand. Uniform pressure, uniform distance from the surface, no zebra-striping, and 5x the speed. We use surface cleaners with 4-5 GPM hot water for almost all concrete work. Wand work is for detail around edges and in tight spots.
Typical pricing
Sidewalk or walkway (residential): $85-$200. Back patio (200-400 sq ft): $150-$300. Pool surround or large patio: $300-$600. Full flatwork package (driveway + sidewalk + patio): $350-$700 (bundle discount). Commercial per-square-foot: $0.08-$0.20 depending on condition.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from driveway cleaning?
Same process, different location. Driveway cleaning is one category of concrete cleaning. We just price based on total area and access.
Can you clean my garage floor?
Yes — interior garage floors are a common add-on. We use less water and squeegee-dry if needed to keep water out of the house.
What about stamped or colored concrete?
We use gentler pressure and verify chemistry doesn't discolor. We've cleaned hundreds of stamped patios without damage.
Will my new concrete be harmed?
Concrete cures over 28 days. Pressure washing within the first 60 days should use lower pressure. We'll ask how old it is and adjust.
