Why commercial-grade lights matter
Home center holiday lights are sealed non-repairable strands that fail mid-season when one bulb blows. Commercial-grade strands use replaceable bulbs, weather-resistant connections, and UV-resistant wire. One strand costs more but lasts 5-10 years. Over a decade, you pay less and deal with fewer problems.
Repeat customer pricing
Most of our holiday lighting customers come back every year. After your first year, pricing is lower because we already have your design, your measurements, and your lights in storage. Year 1 is more expensive (design + first install + light purchase); years 2+ are significantly less.
Typical pricing
Basic roofline package (single-story ranch): $550-$850 first year, $325-$475 subsequent years. Full package (two-story home, trees, shrubs): $1,200-$2,500 first year, $700-$1,200 subsequent years. Commercial and luxury estate installs: custom quoted. All pricing includes installation, lights, mid-season maintenance, takedown, and storage.
Booking timeline
July-August: Commercial inquiries. September: Residential design consultations, bookings open. October: Peak installation month begins. November: Final installation slots (often fully booked by mid-month). December: Maintenance only. January: Takedowns. Book early — every year we book up by mid-November.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you damage my roof with clips or staples?
No — we use shingle clips and gutter clips specifically designed for holiday light installation. No nails, no staples, no damage.
What if a bulb blows out mid-season?
Call us — we'll come out within 48 hours to repair. It's included in your install price.
Do I own the lights?
No — the lights remain ours in our storage. But they come back to your home year after year. This means we handle maintenance, upgrades, and replacement. You get consistent quality every season.
Can I provide my own lights?
Installation-only (you supply lights) is available but not our main service. We recommend our commercial-grade LEDs because store-bought fails mid-season.
What's included in takedown?
Full removal, including clips and any ties. Your home looks exactly as it did before install. Storage of the lights through the off-season included.
